 Hey ballers! Gary here. I'm a baseball dad from Iowa.

I grew up in the 1980s - riding BMX, collecting baseball cards, and having fun playing Little League with neighborhood buddies in Northern Michigan. 

I've had a lifelong love for baseball. And, although I hung up my bat a long, long time ago, I continue to enjoy the game from the bleachers where I've watched my kids play Little League, school ball, and travel ball.

Over the past decade, I've spent countless weekends traveling to ballfields throughout the Midwest and one thing is clear - a lot has changed since the last time I stepped into the batter's box. 

BMX has faded away, baseball cards no longer come with stale sticks of gum, and there have been major league upgrades to the equipment and training tools available to today's ball players.

Just walk through the baseball section of any sporting goods store and you'll see exciting things happening with bats, gloves, clothing, and even grip tape. Gear is now highly customizable and available in almost any colorway or design a player desires. 

But, take a look at bat weights and you'll see the conventional round weights are just as plain today as when they were rolled out of the oven in the 1960s.

 We created The Batting Donut™ to change that. 

Our goal is to sprinkle a little fun and excitement onto the game by putting a modern design on one of the most iconic baseball training tools of all time. We hope you'll enjoy our delicious bat weights as much as we do.
